Jimmy H. Beard, M.S.E.E., P.E., CFEI is an electrical engineering and fire investigation expert specializing in forensic analysis of electrical system failures and fire origins. With a career spanning electrical engineering, telecommunications, and fire investigation, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his litigation work. His work centers on investigating electrical failures, assessing fire origins, and evaluating compliance with electrical codes.

Mr. Beard has been retained in numerous expert witness and consulting engagements across the southeastern United States, involving residential, commercial, and industrial systems. His Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, along with his Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator designation, reinforce his ability to deliver objective, defensible analyses.
