Kevin A. Rider, PhD, PE, CPE is a forensic human factors expert specializing in litigation support for cases involving motor vehicle crashes, slips, trips, and falls, and workplace incidents. With a career spanning human factors, ergonomics, and engineering, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his litigation work. His work centers on investigating motor vehicle accidents, assessing the adequacy of warnings and product designs, and evaluating whether workplace safety standards were met. Mr. Rider has been retained in numerous expert witness and consulting engagements across the United States, involving motor vehicle accidents, workplace safety, and premises liability. His Ph.D. in Industrial & Operations Engineering (Human Factors), along with certifications as a Certified Professional Ergonomist and Professional Engineer, reinforce his ability to deliver objective, defensible analyses. He is regularly engaged by both plaintiff and defense counsel to provide clear, independent determinations of causation in disputes involving human factors and ergonomics.
